We are so excited to welcome you to The Wellness Circle with Thrive 360! We are your full circle place for health, wellness, community, and lifestyle education and conversation! We can hear you sighing already, another healthy lifestyle blog... blah right? What sets us apart from other blogs and articles about health? We are a team of educated health professionals living in a rural community, providing health advice for friends, family and beloved. All of our information will be heavily based on current scientific research and our own experiences and expertise in the fitness, health and wellness industry. We would like to start by introducing ourselves and how Thrive 360 came to be what it is today!

Our Resilient Roots
On May 1, 2012, Thrive360 Ltd. was born — not out of a grand plan or deep pockets, but out of a dream, a little courage, and a whole lot of support. With only a small amount of savings and the incredible help of a few family members and loyal friends, the walls of Thrive 360 began to take shape.
Those early days were full of sawdust, sweat, and long hours. Just two weeks after construction started, Robin was already back to training clients — sometimes while renovations were still going on around them. It was messy, exhausting, and exciting all at once. But by July 2012, Thrive 360 officially opened its doors to the public.
Over the past eleven years, Thrive 360 has grown and evolved more than ever could have imagined. We’ve gone through four renovations (2012, 2014, 2017, and 2018) and even a location move in December 2018. Each change reflected a new stage of growth, both for the business and for our community.
In it's first 11 years, Thrive 360 sold over 2,640 memberships and trained more than 260 individuals — each with their own story, goal, and journey. We’ve been lucky to work with 11 corporate partners, five of whom have stayed with us for over eight years. Their support and trust have meant so much.
But beyond numbers, what invokes the most pride is how much we’ve been able to give back. Between 2012 and 2023, Thrive 360 contributed more than $35,000 to our community — through athlete sponsorships, event support, low-income membership subsidies, auction donations, and charitable initiatives. Being able to support the Stettler area and the people who’ve supported us from day one has been one of the most rewarding parts of this journey.
We’ve hosted all kinds of events over that first decade — Triathlons, Duathlons, Wellness Retreats, and Transformation & Weight Loss Challenges — and offered countless classes including kickboxing, cross training, spin, HIIT, circuits, kids’ football summer programs, and our REAL Nutrition Program. We’ve even helped 16 athletes step on stage for bodybuilding competitions, and trained many young athletes who went on to join higher-level teams outside of Stettler.
Of course, it wasn't always easy. Like many small businesses, we faced our toughest challenge during the COVID-19 pandemic, when we were shut down for nearly two years. It was an incredibly hard time, but we made it through — thanks to the loyalty, encouragement, and strength of our members and community. That experience reminded me that Thrive 360 has always been more than a gym. It’s a place built on resilience, relationships, and the belief that when we support one another, we all thrive.
Thrive360 started as a dream, but it became a community, a family, and a reflection of what can happen when passion meets purpose.
Partnership & A Guardian Angel
In 2018, Katie Bainbridge became a full partner. Together, we navigated the highs of entrepreneurial prosperity and the lows of the COVID recession, holding each other up through it all. Those years taught us the true meaning of partnership — sharing the burden, thinking outside the box, and celebrating every success as a team. Katie's dreams and passions for her role in the fitness industry were deeply rooted in her commitment to the community and her love for those around her.
Katie was not new to Thrive, she had been a member for years. Her fitness journey carried with it lots of success in competitive bodybuilding. She was a busy community member in addition to her ownership at Thrive. She was instrumental in bringing lacrosse to the community, and helped out in various roles with the local hockey and football organizations. Katie tragically passed away after a fight with aggressive pancreatic cancer. The diagnosis led to an agreement between Katie and Robin to sell the business in 2023, as continuing without half of the partnership was not something either party wished for.
"Katie will be remembered as a pillar of her community, bringing so much inspiration to those around her with her tremendous grace and positive outlook on life. She was a welcoming and calming presence, making everyone she met feel comfortable and accepted. Katie continued to learn and grow throughout her life. She was passionate about healthy living and was thoroughly devoted to her family. Her strength and compassion touched everyone she knew and will continue to live on through all who knew her. Her loss will be deeply felt by the multitude of friends and family left behind." (Katie's Obituary).
Adapting Through Grief
On May 1, 2023, exactly 11 years after its original opening, Thrive360 entered a new chapter of its journey. The Myshaniuk family proudly purchased the business, carrying forward the same philosophies and community spirit that Robin and Katie built. Since the transition, new team members have joined, new services have been introduced, and a new space has been created to support the evolving needs of both the business and the community. While change can sometimes be challenging, we are grateful that our entire existing team chose to stay and continue the incredible work they’ve always done.
Stay tuned for more details about the build of our new home, the challenges and opportunities that arose during the construction and after. Also coming soon, the chance to get to know our team and what we can offer you!
