Which Zen Place Yoga class is right for you?
Yin Yoga: Yin yoga is designed to target deeper connective tissues with it's movements and is often referred to as "yoga for joints". Although it is a more passive form of yoga, Yin includes longer holds of poses and demands emphasis on internal heat.
Hatha Yoga: Hatha yoga is great for beginners, it is gentle and focuses on static poses and breathwork. This type of yoga is intended to balance the body's energies.
Vinyasa Yoga: Vinyasa focuses on primarily on physical movement. Rhythmic and repetitive motions are linked together timed smoothly with breathwork.
Yoga with Weights: Yoga with weights combines traditional yoga practices and adds small weights, designed to improve overall muscle strength while still incorporating mobility and breathwork.
Strength and Stretch: This class is offered on weekends and is meant to combine energized body poses with rejuvenating stretching practices to ensure you can tackle whatever the week throws at you. This class is a great weekly reset that combines strength training with mobility and flexibility in its poses.
