Starting at the age of 4 Kayla was in love with the sport of softball, at 14 she started traveling to pursue a more competitive level. Throughout her years playing at an elite level she competed at Canadian National Champions on multiple occasions, medaled in Western Canadian Championships, and placed in "A" Provincial Championships many times. Later in her playing career she was fortunate enough to be selected to an elite travel team, this allowed her to receive coaching from Team Canada coaches and took her all over North America including Florida, California, and Las Vegas. After graduating from minor sports, she was able to stay with her travel organization in a coaching capacity. Her professional coaching career has taken her all over North America, including most recently to the great state of Texas! It brings her a sense of pride when she is able to bring back her experiences and knowledge to the kids of her hometown. Her camps are often geared towards teaching fundamental skills, and improving athletes as individuals through physical skill and mental performance.
